Silicone Materials We Collect & Recycle

Silicone Liquid Materials

We collect and recycle used, expired, and surplus silicone oil (PDMS). We are also looking for silicone related fluids such as silicone transformer oil, silicone emulsions, silicone heat transfer fluids, and more.

Post-Industrial Silicone Rubber

We collect excess silicone rubber such as runners, cut-offs, and trimmings. We also collect reject silicone rubber products that are usually thrown away, left over liquid silicone rubber, and other silicone related materials.

1. Silicone Collection
1. Silicone Collection
We work closely with silicone product manufacturers around the world to pickup and recycle silicone rubber material streams.
2. Shred Into Small Pieces
2. Shred Into Small Pieces
The ensure secure destruction, the first process when silicone rubber enters our facility is to shred them into small 10-15mm pieces.
3. High Temperature Cracking
3. High Temperature Cracking
Granulated silicone is heated to high temperatures in large-scale reaction chambers where silicone vapors are collected and filtered.
4. Filtration & Refinement
4. Filtration & Refinement
The extracted silicone DMC goes through a complex filtration and chemical refinement process producing high-grade silicone fluid.

The first silicone rubber recycling plant in the United States has completed phase one of development. Having just begun in 2018, ECO USA’s pilot facility has undergone tremendous growth. It can currently recycle approximately 500 metric tons of silicone monthly and have plans for reaching 1,000 metric tons in the near future. Their success comes […]

Silicone Rubber Scrap Recycling In Post-Industrial Settings

Most people do not know that silicone rubber can be recycled. As it is often thrown away as waste, silicone rubber that is no longer useful is often referred to as “silicone rubber scrap”. By definition, scrap is a small piece or amount of something, especially one that is left over after the greater part […]

We Collect Surplus / Expired Silicone Sealant, Caulk, RTV & Adhesives

ECO USA collects and recycles surplus and expired silicone sealant and caulk in liquid or solid form. These can also be referred to as “room temperature vulcanizing” silicone rubber, RTV for short. RTVs are widely used as water-resistant seals at home for kitchens and bathrooms. Silicone RTV is also heavily used in the construction and […]
